Omi is one of the four main Xiaolin Dragons along with Raimundo, Kimiko, and Clay. His element is water. He is the main protagonist of the series.

[edit] Background
Omi has lived at the Xiaolin Temple since a very young age. He was an orphan taken in by Master Fung, the head of the temple. He proved to be very proficient in the martial arts, and Master Fung trained him to become the Xiaolin Dragon of Water.
Omi met the rest of the Dragons and they began their quest to find all of the Shen Gong Wu. This was when they first met their enemies, Jack Spicer and Wuya.
[edit] Turn to Evil
After some time, they met Chase Young. Chase saw potential in Omi, but thought he was working for the wrong side. He started working to turn Omi to the Heylin side.
Chase convinced him to go into the Ying-Yang word to look for Master Fung, whom Chase had imprisoned. Omi, not knowing the danger of using the Ying Yo-Yo, entered the Ying-Yang world, and came out without his chi, turning him evil.
The other monks were able to restore Omi's chi, but Omi was still bound by the pledge of loyalty he made to Chase while evil. Chase took possession of Omi's chi (shown through the transfer of his forehead dots), and in this way made Omi one of his Jungle Cats. His friends eventually wagered themselves in exchange for Omi's freedom is a 4 on 4 soccer Showdown, which the Xiaolin side won.
[edit] Final Quest
After several months and several showdowns, Master Fung tells all the dragons that he will promote only one monk to master dragon, and tells them they must all go on a quest of their own choice.
Omi decides that he will go back in time to stop Chase Young from becoming evil by freezing himself so he can awake in the future to get the Sands of Time. He finds that the temple has been destroyed and the dragons and other monks are captured.
Eventually, he travels back in time. There back in time, he switches the soup Hannibal Roy Bean was supposed to give Chase to make him evil.
Going into the present, he finds that Clay Bailey has become the head dragon and has the other dragons farm and live another life in the evil world concurred by an evil Master Monk Guan. Later, they get captured, and in order to free them, a good Chase Young drinks the evil soup and becomes the evil lizard creature he was.
Later, Omi returns to stop what he did, and returns back to a normal present, where Master Fung declares Raimundo Pedrosa the head dragon. In the end, they all come out to battle every villain they ever faced, before the show ends.
[edit] Personality
While Omi is very skilled at what he does, he also has a bit of an ego, such as constantly acting superior to Raimundo Pedrosa. The Bird of Paradise reveals his greatest trait to be loyalty. Omi seems to have a problem with American slang and idioms, as he has to be constantly corrected. His Wudai Weapon is the Shimo Staff.
